New York / London / Hong Kong – Christie’s announces a dedicated Patek Philippe themed online-only sale of 15 timepieces that reflect a great diversity of time and styles, from a yellow gold reference 1569 (18,000 USD) made in 1945 that is remarkably large for its time and in stunning original condition to the stainless steel ‘Jumbo’ Nautilus reference 3700/1 (42,000 USD) from 1977. The impressive selection of wristwatches features a platinum ‘Wempe’ reference 5125 with black dial (98,000 USD) that was specially produced in 2003 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the relationship between Wempe and Patek Philippe. Additional highlights include a reference 5070 (69,500 USD) and a reference 5170 retailed by Tiffany & Co. (76,000 USD) that is in brand new factory-sealed condition.
